About Our Church

Dear Friends,

Welcome to our website! St. Peter's Church is the Church of England parish church for Sheringham in North Norfolk.

Many baptisms, weddings and funerals take place at our church, but St. Peter's is also used for a whole variety of purposes, and is very much at the centre of the local community. For example, we hold regular concerts in the church, which has excellent acoustics. Our stunning new church hall, which adjoins the church, is used as a venue for the various church groups and community events.

We seek to meet people 'where they are' and are privileged to provide chaplaincy support to the Sheringham Town Council, RNLI (Lifeboat), a local theatre and the town's museums and schools.

St. Peter's also plays a prominent role in "Churches Together In Sheringham", which also includes St. Andrew's Methodist Church, Sheringham Baptist Church, St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, The Salvation Army, New Wine Church and the Society of Friends.

The church and hall are available for use by community groups and individuals. For more information contact us.

A warm welcome awaits you at St Peter's. Come and see what we have to offer!

Yours in Christ,
Christian Heycocks (Vicar).
